Classic Rock

When: February 21, 2011

Sweater: Borrowed from my suitemate, Amber
Tank top: Forever 21
Skirt: Nordstrom B.P.
Tights: Betsey Johnson at TJ Maxx
Boots: Target
Belt: Nordstrom B.P.

Where: Chi Omega Chapter Meeting

Why: Honestly, I've worn this outfit more than once. I wanted to wear it again so I could show you all! I called this outfit classic rock, because without the shoes, it's just "classic." I get told a lot that I'm classy, but prim and proper are two things that I am not. I like a little edge to my class, and here it is. I know you're seeing a lot of these boots, so I hope you aren't getting wary, because you'll just have to deal with it. I am in a love affair with these boots. And the skirt I call "a Marilyn" because I was in New York City last summer and totally caught a breeze.

I am exhausted. We have been SLAVING over Recycled Fashion show dress. I know this is my outfit from Monday, but as I type it is the end of Tuesday, and we just finished the dress. But I've decided, I'm not showing you any pictures until the fashion show happens! Ha, let's see if I can keep my excitement in check.

Also, today I rediscovered the double shot of espresso. Magic in a can, need I say more?

  1. this outfit is really cool! found your blog on ifb:) three things:
    1. How did you find Betsey Johnson at TJ Max???!!
    2. Love the "Marilyn"
    3. Never underestimate the power of espresso

  2. OMG, I think I've found a new best friend, and it's name is double shot. You are so right.

Yeah, they have Betsey Johnson socks and tights at places like TJ Maxx and Ross... but I think it's only the small, mass produced items. My friend got adorable BJ socks at Ross.

  3. Great outfit - well put together and you look gorgeous! "Marylin" skirt - love the name :)
